We, William’s Den Limited, operate this Privacy and Cookies Policy because we are committed to safeguarding the privacy of those using this website (“our website”) and the confidentiality of any information that we collect about you.  This Privacy and Cookies Policy sets out how we will use any personal information that we may obtain from you.  If we change any of the terms of Our Privacy and Cookies Policy we will post the revised policy on our website at www.williamsden.co.uk behind the “Privacy and Cookies Policy” link at the bottom of each page.

Who are we?
We are William’s Den Limited.  We are a limited company registered in England (number 09533438).  Our main trading address is Castle Farm, Wold Hill, North Cave, HU15 2LS.  We operate our website, the homepage of which can be found at www.williamsden.co.uk.  We are committed to ensuring that all personal information we hold is treated properly and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.  We are registered as a data controller with the Information Commissioner’s Office and our registration number is ZA254225.  In accordance with applicable data protection legislation, we are required to explain to you how we will treat any personal data which we collect from you.

What information do we collect and how do we use it?
It is possible to visit and browse our website without being required to tell us who you are or reveal any information about you.

You may give us information about you by filling in forms on our website or by corresponding with us by phone, e-mail or otherwise.  This includes information you provide when you register to use our website, subscribe to our mailing list, place an order on our website, enter a competition, promotion or survey, purchase a ticket to enter William’s Den adventure play attraction (“the Attraction”) and when you report a problem with our website.  The information you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address and phone number, financial and credit card information, preferences and interests and any other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers.  When we validate a membership card, a photograph will be taken of the member when the membership card is created.  Such photograph will be held on our system for authorising the member’s future entry into the Attraction.  The photograph will be used for verification purposes only and will be deleted from our system following expiry of the membership card.  If you place an order with our website, we will use your information to process your order and for customer service and administration purposes.

Where you have given consent, we, and carefully selected third parties may use your information to inform you of special offers, events, promotions, new products and changes to our website via post, telephone, email or other appropriate means.  If you subscribe to our mailing list but subsequently decide that you no longer wish to receive such mailings please see the section below headed “How do you stop marketing information being sent to you?”.  

In the event that you provide us with feedback regarding William’s Den adventure park or our products, we may disclose that feedback to our suppliers.

You warrant that any information you supply to us is accurate and up to date, that you will inform us if any such information requires updating, and that if you submit a third party’s details to us you have that third party’s permission to do so.

Third Parties
We will share personal information about you with (i) third parties who are directly involved in dealing with any enquiry made or order placed by you (this will include Digital Ticketing Systems Ltd who process orders placed on our website on our behalf); (ii) where we are required to enforce our Terms and Conditions of Sale and/or Terms of Use [Rollits Note: insert hyperlinks]; (iii) with third parties who are providing us with professional advice; (iv) where we are legally required to do so; (v) in connection with criminal or legal investigations where permitted by law; or (vi) where we have stated otherwise on our website.  If you receive goods or services which involve the goods or services of a third party we will pass information about you to the supplier so that it can provide you with these goods or services and any associated services which we ask it to provide. 

If you subscribe to our mailing list we may send you details of third parties’ products and services from time to time.  We will not pass on your information to third parties for the purpose of marketing.  If you respond to any third party who contacts you that third party rather than us will become the data controller of any information you provide to that third party and you should ask for details of how it will use that information.

We may also disclose your personal information to third parties in the event that we sell or buy any business or assets (in which case we may disclose your personal information to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets) or if we or substantially all of our assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal information held by us about our customers and subscribers will be one of the transferred assets.

How do you stop marketing information being sent to you?
You can ask that such information is no longer sent to you by emailing us at info@williamsden.co.uk or writing to us at William’s Den Limited, Castle Farm, Wold Hill, North Cave, HU15 2LS or clicking on the appropriate link in the footer of any marketing emails.  It may take up to 14 working days to remove you from our marketing lists.

Security
We will take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information.  However, the Internet is global and no data transmitted via the Internet can be guaranteed by us to be completely secure during transmission.  We cannot guarantee the security of any data that you disclose online and we will not be responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our negligence or wilful default.  It is possible that the information you provide to us will be temporarily transferred via a route outside the European Economic Area as it passes between you and us.

Access to your information
You have a legal right to see a copy of the personal data that we keep about you, subject to certain exemptions.  Requests for such information should be made in writing to info@williamsden.co.uk.
