William's Den are REYTA Finalists!

We’ve got some VERY exciting news from The Den…

William’s Den has been shortlisted as a finalist for Remarkable Visitor Attraction of the Year at the 2026 Remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards (REYTAs)!

And yes… we’re feeling pretty proud right now.

The REYTAs celebrate some of the very best tourism businesses, attractions and experiences across Hull and East Yorkshire, so to see William’s Den amongst this year’s finalists is a huge honour.

Even more exciting? This year saw a record-breaking number of entries, the highest in the awards’ 16-year history. So being named as one of just five finalists in our category really does mean a lot to us.

What makes William’s Den… William’s Den?

For us, William’s Den has always been about much more than simply giving children somewhere to play.

It’s about BIG adventures, muddy knees, rosy cheeks, belly laughs and proper family time.

It’s about giving children the freedom to climb, splash, build, explore and let their imaginations run completely wild.

And it’s about creating somewhere grown-ups actually want to spend the day too!

From our award-winning Indoor Den and Outdoor Adventure Play, to homemade food, camping, family events and plenty of surprises throughout the year, we want every visit to give families the chance to switch off from everyday life and make brilliant memories together.

Rain or shine, there’s always an adventure waiting.

What’s STILL to come in 2026

Being shortlisted is an amazing way to celebrate what has already been a HUGE year at The Den, but 2026 definitely isn’t slowing down yet!

First up, superheroes are taking over on 3rd October for our action-packed Superhero Day, complete with Spider-Man, Captain Marvel and plenty of super-powered family fun.

Then things get a little spooky…

From 24th–31st October, Trick or Treat Street returns for another HUGE Halloween adventure. Families will step into the mysterious village of Denville, meet its curious characters, follow the clues and attempt to crack The Mystery of the Missing Bell Chime, with trick-or-treating, Detective School, the Monster Disco, seasonal treats and plenty more Halloween surprises along the way.

And before we know it… Christmas will be here!

From the end of November, William’s Den will transform once again for William’s Christmas Experience, with Father and Mother Christmas, our live Christmas Show, gingerbread decorating, marshmallow toasting, the Magical Post Office, Toy Shop and plenty of magical family moments to round off the year.

So yes… there’s still LOTS to come.

A BIG thank you from The Den

Awards are wonderful, but what makes William’s Den really special is the people who fill it every week.

The families who visit us. The little adventurers who throw themselves into everything. The grandparents watching from the sidelines. The familiar faces who come back again and again. And, of course, the brilliant team behind the scenes who work incredibly hard to make every adventure happen.

We’re incredibly proud to represent East Yorkshire and to be surrounded by so many fantastic attractions and tourism businesses doing brilliant things for our region.

The winners will be announced at the REYTAs ceremony at Bridlington Spa on Wednesday 18th November.

Until then, we’ll be keeping everything crossed…
